Default Some additions and modifications of Pet Skills.

Yes, it's another thread about pet skills. lol I just want to keep posting until A.Net pays attention to beast master that needs a boost!

Anyway, I've been thinking and I think these ideas are doable and pretty balanced:

Modifictions of Current Pet Skills:
1.) Miaming Strike: The Cripple effect is nice but any beast master would tell you that Pin Down owns this skill. You need the target foe to run first to cripple. Have you seen those "kiting" Monk/Caster? That's what I am talking about! It's so hard to cripple them with Miaming Strike. Even after you cripple them, one Mend Aligment...it's gone! Your pet's reaction is not fast enough for Miaming Strike to be useful IMO. My idea is:

Change Miaming Strike to:
10E, 5s Recharge
The pet deals +17 (BM lvl 12) damage on the target. If the target is running or knocked down, the pet deals +12 additional damage.

I think this is a good change because pet has Call of Haste to boost their speed. I think it fits beast master better.

2.) Melandru's Assault: Just a minor change to 10E and 5s recharge and get rid of the AoE effect. That +17 AoE is not going to make any difference...not with 10s recharge and an "enchantment" condition. I think Melandru's Assault will be more useful with reduced recharge. I mean you can't really spike with pets anyway.

3.) Bestial Pounce: The 15s recharge is just simply terrible. You need the target to cast a spell in order to "knock down". It's not like Distracting Shot where you can just quickly shoot the arrow. In comparison to Disrupting Lunge, Bestial Pounce is really not that good. I think if they give BP 3-4s knockdown effect, it will be much more appealing. Either they reduce the recharge timer or add more knockdown seconds will greatly improve this skill.

Additions: New Skills for BM:

My biggest problem with beast master is how pets are so weak against Warriors. We don't have enough skill slots (and attribute points) for self protection and heal and if you have a warrior going after you, you are pretty much doomed after your whirling/throw dirt wears off. Pet does decent damage on Caster armor but so does the Bow. Almost everything you can do with pets, bow does a bit better with better control.

To make Beast Mastery more different, I think these skills can make BM better:

1.) A Call skill: For a duration, the pet has certain % to attack with -20 Armor. This is a good way to deal with heavily armored Warrior. The duration and % goes up with Beast Mastery level.

2.) A Call skill: For a duration, the pet attacks cannot be evaded/blocked.

3.) Call of Revenge (elite): If the master cast this Call before he dies, the pet will continuously attack the target that the master was attacking for a Duration and the pet has +6 damage for every hit. The Call effect is gone when the master gets rezed or when the target died or the duration wears off.

What do you guys think?
